The BSc Business degree provides a solid understanding of the different functional areas of business and a good foundation for a career in management. It combines core social science methodology with technical skills to allow you to develop a thorough appreciation of business and management within a wider environment.

Units offered for BSc (Hons) Business and Management

A student has to study Twelve units in three years, of which, Seven are compulsory units

Four compulsory foundation units:
  • Introduction to Economics
  • Principles of Accounting
  • Mathematics1(Half unit)
  • Statistics1(Half unit)
  • Business and Management in a Global Context

Eight further units from

  • Human Resource Mangement
  • Corporate Finance
  • Financial Reporting
  • Management Accounting
  • Elements of Econometrics and Economic Statistics
  • Information Systems and Organisation
  • Macroeconomics
  • Microeconomics
  • Management Science Methods
  • Principles of Marketing
  • Organisation Theory

Eligibility:

To be eligible for the BSc degrees, an applicant must:

  • normally be at least 17 years old and
  • have GCSE/GCE 'O' level in Mathematics and English Language with at least grade C or equivalent and
  • have two subjects at GCE 'A' Level, plus at least three further subjects at GCSE/GCE 'O' level (at not less than grade C) or
  • three subjects at GCE 'A' level (with one 'A' level at not less than grade D) or
  • three subjects at GCE 'A' level, plus one further subject at GCSE/GCE 'O' level (at not less than grade C) or
  • two subjects at GCE 'A' level, plus two further subjects at GCE 'AS' level or
  • BA/BSc/BCom from any recognised university of Pakistan or
  • High School Diploma plus two APs (excluding Studio Art)

If you do not meet the Entrance Requirements for the degree programme, you have the option of registering for the following qualifications which provide an entry route to all degrees in the field of Economics, Management, Finance and the Social Sciences:
