The University of London LLB has long been recognised as providing an international ‘gold standard’.

The LLB helps you to develop a critical awareness of the common law legal tradition and to apply analytical and problem-solving skills in a range of legal and non-legal settings. In most jurisdictions you need to undertake an additional professional practice course to learn all the practical skills to qualify to work as a solicitor or barrister. In Pakistan graduating with the University of London degree qualifies you for the Bar Council's Entry Test which is essential to get a licence to practise in Pakistan.

Entrance Requirements:

To be eligible, an applicant must:

normally be at least 17 years or above by 30 November in the year of registration and
img1
have GCSE/GCE 'O' level in English Language with at least grade C or equivalent and
img1
have two subjects at GCE 'A' Level, plus at least three further subjects at GCSE/GCE 'O' level (at not less than grade C) or

three subjects at GCE 'A' level (with one 'A' level at not less than grade D) or
img1
three subjects at GCE 'A' level, plus one further subject at GCSE/GCE 'O' level (at not less than grade C) or

two subjects at GCE 'A' level, plus two further subjects at GCE 'AS' level or
img1
BA/BSc/BCom from any recognised university of Pakistan or
img1
High School Diploma plus two APs (excluding Studio Art) with grade 3, 4, or 5
img1 International Baccalaureate (the diploma)

For Graduate Entry Routes

An undergraduate degree with honours awarded by an institution acceptable to the University of London is required. Rest of the requirements are same as above.

If you do not meet the Entrance Requirements

If you do not meet the Entrance Requirements for the degree programme, you have the option of registering for the following qualifications which provide an entry route to the LLB:
